Imaxe The Basque Country, Catalonia, Galicia and the Balearic Islands ask that the Europe 2020 strategy should promote multilingualism

The Governments of the Basque Country, Catalonia, Galicia and the Balearic Islands, met in Paris on occasion of the Expolangues 2010 fair, agreed to jointly ask that the Europe 2020 strategy should promote multilingualism. Therefore, they will send a document to the European Commission in which they highlight "the opportunities" that the recognition of the language diversity, considered "inevitable", opens.
